Micronics flowmeters used for chemical dosing systems for irrigation and drinking water systems for a national supermarket farm in Hampshire
Portsmouth-based specialists in commercial and domestic water softeners and water treatment has installed Micronics U1000 flowmeters for many private clients and national food growers over several years. Bernie West, Commercial Manager of Aquadition Water Treatment had used Micronics flowmeters on many occasions very successfully so had no hesitation in installing them at a national supermarket farm in Hampshire as well as on irrigation and domestic water systems for their private clients, NHS Services, National Food Growers and private estates.

The U1000 is configured for pipe size making set-up on site really simple and its easy to follow menu makes it a cost-effective alternative to installing a traditional in-line meter. Downtime is kept to a minimum because dry servicing is possible .It is a transit time ultrasonic flow meter designed to work with clamp on transducers, to provide accurate measurement of liquid flowing within a closed pipe, without the need for any mechanical parts to be inserted through the pipe wall or to protrude into the flow system. It takes just a few minutes to install and there is no need to shut down flow or drain the system. Aquadition are currently designing further projects using the U1000.
