95 Micronics flowmeters provide flow measurement in Housing Association blocks
Enerza Solutions a turnkey energy solutions provider installed 95 Micronics U1000 and U3000 flow meters in a number of housing developments in and out of London. The non-evasive flow meters were installed to monitor flow / temperatures and energy usage etc, to multiple apartment blocks mainly at plant room level and for block level monitoring. This enabled Enerza Solutions and the client to remotely monitor energy usage and efficiencies and implement the necessary improvements to the energy network resulting in cost savings in energy usage and reactive maintenance work; which in turn prolonged plant equipment lifespans.
Ash Mirza, Systems engineer at Enerza Solutions selected Micronics as the supplier because he had used Micronics flow meter’s on a previous project and therefore knew and trusted the complete range. He also conducted in depth research regarding this solution, so was confident that the Micronics flow meters would be good value for money and surpass client requirements. Enerza Solutions therefore proceeded to purchase 95 flow meters because Micronics would offer a perfect solution: “The support received from the Micronics team was excellent; we would without hesitation use their services in the future. Micronics meters are much quicker and cheaper to install because there is no need to cut into pipework which means that installation costs are minimal – the system does not need to be drained down or pipes cut into. Flow meters are configured for pipe size and there is only nominal configuration on site. The accuracy of the data delivered has been admirable and its operation has proved outstanding.”
